I’m Aaron Ottis. Thanks for taking the time to check out my info! I’ll keep things brief.

I’m based in Columbia, Missouri.

I live there with my beautiful, wonderful wife.

I’m totally obsessed with The Walking Dead. It’s like the greatest show, ever.

I’m a huge Chicago Cubs fan.

My work has won multiple awards from the Illinois Press Association and the Southern Illinois Editorial Association.

I travel. A LOT. My friends quote lines from “Up in the Air” to me. I’ve never seen it.Though based in Missouri, I frequently travel the United States for commercial photography, including environmental portraits and advertising photography. My background in photojournalism lends itself well to editorial photography and event coverage. I got my professional start as a newspaper staff shooter. Photojournalism and documentary work are in my blood.

I also work nationally as a wedding photographer, helping couples capture the moments of their wedding day through a combination of photojournalism, modern wedding styling, and traditional wedding portraiture.
